Music and songs were a big part of the lifeblood of my family, and it later became my main space for dealing with the experiences and ideas. Tell us why you chose this song. “Forgiveness” Most of my songs are written over a long span of time, with various fragments coming together at their own pace. "Forgiveness" was written in about twelve minutes, and continues to be one of the quickest connecting points with audiences. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing at The Ark, likely the most beloved folk venue in the midwest. Every night of music there is better and more intimate than the last.
