In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing the first track from Bryan Adams So Far So Good, in the back of my parents car. That record was the sole reason I wanted to play the guitar. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, Everyday Life John Mayer, Continuum Norah Jones, Come Away With Me (Super Deluxe Edition) These records have had such a great impact on me, the sonics and honesty of the production have been something I have continually learned from. Beautifully written songs, which hold their longevity. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fifty Fathoms” The first half of this track was written and recorded, before travelling to Eastern Ukraine to volunteer for a few days, as a military chaplain. The second half was recorded after my time out there, this track means a lot to me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have the privilege in this season of my life, to sit with Africans and learn their songs! They are teaching me a great deal about their heritage and culture, and I'm looking forward to releasing music with them. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is great deal of music that I would love to write, on the horizon is writing for larger live string ensemble and in the more immediate future releasing some song writing material.
