Co-owner of Leaving Records, where artists like Ras G, Jonwayne, and Odd Nosdam have released their avant beats, L.A.'s Matthew David McQueen is also a solo artist, recording and performing under the names Matthewdavid and Matthewdavid's Mindflight. His studio albums, which include In My World (2014) and Mycelium Music (2023), combine elements of new age, footwork, jungle, and ambient improvisation.
