In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 15 my mom took me to a talent competition put on by a small record label. I sang a CeCe Winan's song and did terrible, but the woman who won accompanied herself as she sang an original song. That was when I began writing my own music.
