About Linda Perry

A vocalist with a memorably strong voice, an in-demand songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and a highly successful record producer, Linda Perry has paved a music career punctuated by her individualism, anthemic melodies, and empowering yet vulnerable lyrical sensibility. The onetime lead singer for alt-rock outfit 4 Non Blondes, she enjoyed one hit album with the group -- 1992's Bigger, Better, Faster, More!, featuring the international hit "What's Up?" – before going solo. After releasing two solo LPs (1996's In Flight and 1999's After Hours), Perry concentrated mostly on producing and writing for others, including hits for P!nk and Christina Aguilera, most notably the latter's 2002 smash "Beautiful." Perry was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2015. She had added artists ranging from Ringo Starr to Cardi B to her résumé by the time her third solo LP, 2026's Let It Die Here, arrived alongside a documentary on her life.
