My Ticket Home

A hard-hitting post-hardcore unit based out of Columbus, Ohio, My Ticket Home's lethal blend of metalcore, nu-metal, and hardcore punk -- the band refers to its sound as "puke rock" -- invokes names like Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, and Attack Attack! Formed in 2008, the band released a pair of EPs (Above the Great City in 2009 and The Opportunity to Be in 2010) before dropping its Billboard-charting debut full-length, To Create a Cure, in 2012 via Rise Records. The Will Putney co-produced Strangers Only arrived the following year, and in 2017 the band inked a deal with Spinefarm Records and unleashed its third studio long-player, UnReal. ~ James Christopher Monger
