Performing at the Garden of Five Senses in New Delhi, at the finals of the Radio City Live - Hunt for India's Best Hindi Band, in February 2008 was a defining moment for the career of Swarathma. Avial, Avial Indian Ocean, Kandisa Motherjane, Insane Biography The bands Indian Ocean, Motherjane and Avial represent the earliest and formative influences of Swarathma. Their members have been guiding lights and bellwethers of a life in the Indian independent music scene. The band has looks up to their music.
