The dream of melodic rock in the vein of Bon Jovi and Def Leppard lives on for Swedish band Degreed. Their full-length debut, Life, Love, Loss, was released in 2010. 2013's We Don't Belong was a sleeker affair, production-wise. The self-produced Dead But Not Forgotten arrived in 2015, followed by a self-titled album in 2017. Its 2019 follow-up, the semi-conceptual Lost Generation, fared even better. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the quartet issued their sixth album, Are You Ready, followed less than 18 months later by 2023's Public Address. A stopgap EP in 2025, The Leftovers Volume 1, offered a fistful of outtakes; a year later came their eighth album, Curtain Calls, which, despite its title, betrayed no signs of retirement.
