In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My memory is of writing the first single ever made recognizing the term New Jack Swing as a tribute to Teddy Riley and a new genre of music. That single officially branded a NJS genre that followed and became a billboard #1 Rap song in 1989.
