Kadenzza

A self-described "grand-sympho-orchestral-kamikaze-metal" project, Japan's Kadenzza is a one-man tour de force devised by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist You Oshima. After working on home demos as a hobby throughout the 1990s, Oshima released three albums in the 2000s: The Reality in the Phantasmagoric World (2002), Into the Oriental Phantasma (2003), and The Second Renaissance -- all featuring himself handling vocals, guitars, synthesizers, sampling, and programming, plus, when necessary, very sporadic guest narrators and instrumentalists. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
