About State of Illusion

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The earliest memory that stands out but one that made a huge impact on me was going to my first real concert: Staind, Shinedown, and Parmalee in 2006. Aaron Lewis sang "So Far Away" to me and tossed his guitar pick to me after. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cold, Year of the Spider Periphery, Juggernaut: Omega Staind, 14 Shades of Grey Cold's Year of the Spider taught me so much about songwriting and writing with emotion. To be able to tour with Cold on the 20th anniversary of that album was an experience we'll never forget. Periphery's albums inspired progressive aggression. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Death Is Not the End” Death is Not the End has all of State of Illusion's elements wrapped into one song. It has so much emotion and lyrical depth, it's an easy choice to show what State of Illusion is all about. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Supporting Cold's Year of the Spider 20th anniversary tour will always remain a highlight, as will sharing the stage with Staind and Chevelle and our Aphelion 10 year anniversary show. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We've had our dreams come true in many ways. Teenage me would be blown away by some of the things State of Illusion have done. That said, there is so much left for us to do and we will always strive to grow and achieve.
