About Marc Enfroy
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My grandfather was Bradley Kincaid — the Kentucky Mountain Boy — one of America's first radio folk singers. I remember sitting in his living room watching him play guitar and sing. That's where I first understood what music could carry forward. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Evanescence, Synthesis George Winston, December Various Artists, Titanic (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) [Anniversary Edition] Three very different records with the same emotional core — music that holds something words can't. One hauntingly cinematic, one intimately sparse, one unexpectedly orchestral. Each one shaped how I think about what I write. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “A Good Heart” A Good Heart has quietly found its way into listeners' lives over the years — returned to during moments of change and quiet searching. A Good Heart: Echoes, from my album Threads Across Time, is the same piece carried by a full orchestra. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2006 my sister died. She painted constantly in her last years, leaving behind something beautiful. Her husband gave me her keyboard. I sat beneath one of her paintings and wrote a tribute. One piece led to another. That's where it all began. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? For this music to keep finding the people who need it — long after I'm gone. I hope what I create has a way of staying. If I've done my work, someone years from now will hear my music during a moment that matters — and feel less alone.
