About Jeffrey Foskett
Power pop singer/songwriter Jeffrey Foskett first attracted notice as a member of the '70s-era combo the Pranks; after the group's demise, he became a member of the Beach Boys' touring band, later forging a solo career with the release of 1996's Thru My Window. Over the next several years he became a highly prolific figure, issuing three more albums -- Thru My Window -- The Other Takes, Sunny's Off, and Cool and Gone (Gone, Gone) -- in speedy succession. Foskett also played with Brian Wilson on his solo tours and several of his albums, and later returned to the Beach Boys' touring company. Jeffrey Foskett died on December 11, 2023; he was 67. ~ Jason Ankeny
