Eddy Current Suppression Ring

The no-nonsense punk rock group Eddy Current Suppression Ring have flown under the radar for much of their career, bashing out three-chord stompers with brevity and wit galore seemingly only to amuse themselves. This no-frills, self-effacing attitude appealed to those who were looking for a band who captured the best aspects of punk without any of the extraneous B.S. Their albums -- starting with a self-titled release in 2006 up through 2026's In Light of Recent Events -- are full of clanging guitars, live-wire rhythms, and joyfully unvarnished vocals; released on respected indie labels (Goner, Castle Face) that know a thing or two about the true nature of punk rock.
