Daniel Tashian

Musician, songwriter, and producer Daniel Tashian has enjoyed a truly multifaceted career, starting out as a promising singer/songwriter and maturing into a behind-the-scenes man who has won Grammy awards as a producer and songwriter. Tashian released his first album, Sweetie, in 1996, and recorded a handful of LPs with his indie pop project, the Silver Seas (aka the Bees), including 2004's Starry Gazey Pie. Tashian blended pop and Nashville influences on 2018's Some Other Country, collaborated with Burt Bacharach on 2020's Blue Umbrella, and created witty music for children and parents on 2025's Family Vacation.
