In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up, I loved singing gospel & folk songs. I used to write my own lyrics & play my guitar under the bed covers after everyone was asleep, often waking up with the guitar next to me in the morning. Music & singing has saved my life over & over. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bonnie Raitt, Give It Up (Remastered) Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Déjà Vu Joni Mitchell, Ladies of the Canyon Joni, Bonnie and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young were my early inspirations both in songwriting, harmonies and creative musical arrangements. I believe their albums are now encoded into my DNA, deeply embedded into my own style of singing & songwriting. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Angel Come Down” This song was written in one sitting & tells the story of my daughterʻs Guardian Angel. She had woke from a bad dream & I came into her room to comfort her saying her Angel was in her room. I then remembered my own Mom telling me this same story.
