In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was attending a jam session of all pedal steel guitarists in a rural town in Oklahoma. The sound was beautiful - 20 steel guitars all playing in unison. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Time Out of Mind Brian Eno, Ambient 2: The Plateaux of Mirror Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Remastered I first heard Marvin Gaye's What Going On at an early age and the orchestration, lyric, and groove of the rhythm section felt like a musical miracle to me. When i listen to Eno and Budd's "First Light" I am immediately inspired. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Portrait” This song was written on a quiet day, while playing my piano in my living room What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing with Beck at Red Rocks was a highlight in 2025. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? i would love to tour my solo music in Japan soon.
