When I was about 5-6 years old, I would take the wastebaskets from everyone's room in the house, turn them upside down and make a "drumkit," and play the beat with unsharpened pencils. Counting Crows, August and Everything After Counting Crows - "August and Everything After" - An eye-opener for the art of songwriting. Son Volt - "Trace" - Helped me better understand guitar sounds. Tell us why you chose this song. “Where Is Your Heart” I think this song is important because we - as a culture - should try to better understand ourselves and our sometimes ugly, impulsive behavior some of us exhibit through social media, especially when it comes to how we treat the less fortunate.
