About Harmonie Universelle

Harmonie Universelle is a period-instrument ensemble led by German violinist Florian Deuter and Argentine violinist Mónica Waisman, drawing its international membership from across Europe, the Americas, Japan, and Australia. The ensemble takes its name from the writings of French scholar Marin Mersenne, who portrayed the world as a harmonious whole. In 2026, the ensemble released Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber: Harmonia artificioso-ariosa on the Accent label, the third installment of its ongoing Biber series.
