The Dorians

About The Dorians

Vocalist John Unger had played with two local Ontario bands, the Small Town Boys and the Living Ends, before he formed the Dorians in 1968 with bassist Bob Nixon. "If I Were 21 and You Were 24" appeared in 1969, but it wasn't until "Psychedelic Lipstick" became a hit overseas that the band gained popularity. "Help for My Waiting," their first North American hit, appeared in 1970. ~ John Bush
