In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first time ever performing on a mic in front of a crowd the record on the turntable skipped. I was able to stay on beat but it showed me that things will never be perfect - but you always have to be ready to adapt. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nas, Illmatic Rage Against the Machine, Evil Empire The Mars Volta, Deloused In the Comatorium These albums really shaped our sound. Nas hard hitting and poignant lyricism, the musicianship of Mars Volta, and the revolutionary energy of Evil Empire can all be seen in the music we make Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Good Cop” This is the first song we have released as a band. We are excited to start this journey together and to say something meaningful about the things that are happening to our country and our communities. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We are just getting started so we have a lot of memories to make. Our first show as amazing, we sold around 300 tickets and sold out of all of our merchandise. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We want to change the world and help people fight back against imperialism and capitalist systems of oppression.
