About Jen Miller
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was in elementary school, my Dad got a CD system and speakers. I used to blare Enya, Ben Folds Five, and Aaliyah when I got to be home alone and was obsessed with the sound and dynamics of every record. No wonder I'm a producer now. :) What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alanis Morissette, Jagged Little Pill (Remastered) Paula Cole, This Fire Supertramp, Breakfast in America (Deluxe Edition) 2010 Remaster All of these albums were things I listened to and resonated with before I was even thirteen. They are timeless and I come back to them time & time again. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Make Love” Make Love is the first song I released off my new album Quiet Parts Out Loud. I wrote it alone on the guitar on my porch in Nashville, in a moment where I realized that money might make the world go round, but it truly means nothing without love. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being invited to join the GRAMMYs was a huge day. It felt like a nod from my peers after a decade of grinding and making as much art as possible. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I make music to reach people who will hear the song and say, "wow, I could not have said it better myself." I feel seen through music and I want others to feel the same in mine.
