About Grupo Flash
Stalwarts of Mexican cumbia, Grupo Flash was formed in the mid-'80s by bandleader José Luis Garza, who had spent the previous 25 years touring and recording with the Krazy Kings. Surrounded by a large if ever-changing lineup of musicians, typically with plenty of experience in other bands, Garza hit the ground running with "Cuco El Perruco," included in Grupo Flash's debut album, Dueño De Tu Amor. It would prove to be simply one of the many popular hits that the group would gather throughout their four-decade career, which arguably reached its peak in the mid-'90s with staples such as "Pero Tú No Estás," "Un Amor Como El Mío," and "Ritmo Fácil," as well as albums such as Relámpago De Corazón (1993) and Me Gustas (1996), frequent TV appearances, tours across Mexico and the United States, and collaborations with other artists.
