Malignancy

Malignancy is an East Coast extreme metal group with a lethal, yet infectious sound rooted in the kinetic blastbeats and unorthodox songwriting typical to New York technical death metal. Early works like 1998's Intrauterine Cannibalism leaned heavily into grindcore, while later efforts such as Inhuman Grotesqueries (2007) and Discontinued (2024) took a broader, more technically ambitious approach to the genre.
