Anushka

A traditional house mix of sweet vocals and deep, tasteful beats, Anushka are a British duo signed to Gilles Peterson’s label, Brownswood Recordings. Featuring producer Max Wheeler and vocalist Victoria Port, the group formed in 2012 and signed with Brownswood a year later. They released their debut EP Distorted Air in 2014 with the album Broken Circuit following later that year. ~ David Jeffries
