Laurence Perkins

Bassoonist Laurence Perkins is a familiar figure to audiences in the North of England. The longtime principal bassoonist of the Manchester Camerata, he is also an internationally noted soloist and chamber player. He has a substantial résumé of orchestral recording credits and has also issued a number of distinctive solo recordings on the Hyperion label. Those include Honey-Coloured Cow: Moosic for Bassoon (2025).
