Reb Fountain

New Zealand-based singer/songwriter Reb Fountain has slowly built an impressive body of work where her imagery-rich narrative songs are guided by her controlled vocals. Fountain's music doesn't commit to any one genre but explores elements of country, folk, storytelling, singer/songwriter fare, and alternative pop. Her recorded output has also shifted from album to album, with the country tinges of 2006's Like Water giving way to a more varied presentation on visceral and more intensely toned releases like her self-titled 2020 album and its 2021 follow-up Iris.
