About A Skylit Drive
A Skylit Drive is a Lodi, California-based six-piece who operate in the post-hardcore continuum of the 2000s, combining pop-leaning emo influences with the harder edged sounds of metalcore and screamo. Formed while the original members were attending high school, the group issued an EP, SHE WATCHED THE SKY, in 2007. A round of personnel changes ensued and in 2008, their debut full-length, WIRES… AND THE CONCEPT OF BREATHING, appeared, breaking the Billboard Top 200. An exclusive DVD for teen clothing outlet Hot Topic appeared in late-2008, along with a follow-up album, ADELPHIA, in 2009.
