Lydia Teuscher

Lydia Teuscher trained in Cardiff and Mannheim before beginning her career as a resident ensemble member at the Semperoper Dresden. From there, her voice carried her onto opera and concert stages across Europe, Asia, and North America, including as a soloist in Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem broadcast live to hundreds of thousands during the Coronavirus pandemic. She appeared on the 2026 release Mel Bonis: Orchestral Works, with the WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln under Joseph Bastian, performing Le Chat sur le Toit.
