Peter Van Hoesen

Belgian producer, DJ, and mastering engineer Peter Van Hoesen creates finely tuned, deeply psychedelic experimental techno. While he started releasing more abstract material under various aliases during the '90s, he came into his own with his boundary-pushing club releases under his own name during the 2000s. His debut album, Entropic City, appeared on Time to Express in 2010, and he continued issuing material on labels like Tresor, Curle, and Dekmantel. Additionally, he has released glitchy, noisy material with Yves de Mey under the name Sendai. His fourth album, the mind-expanding Towards the Center of Time and Surrounded by Spirits, appeared on Vlek in 2024, and he has since issued EPs like 2025's Opening Patterns.
