Akron, OH's Fistula consists of guitarist/vocalist Corey Bing, bassist/vocalist Bahb Branca, and drummer Aaron Brittain, and specializes in grinding doom and sludge metal similar to Earthride, Cavity, and Bongzilla, among others. Formed in 2000, the trio has recorded two full-length albums, 2001's Hymns of Slumber and 2003's Idiopathic, and taken part in numerous compilations and split releases.
