Alberto Barros

Alberto Barros is a salsa trombonist, arranger, and songwriter who has collaborated with some of the genre's biggest superstars and whose recording career includes solo efforts as well as group efforts with Los Titanes. As a solo artist, Barros made his full-length album debut in 1995 with El Titan de la Salsa, a live album on Sony. The following decade he once again received top billing on a series of independently released albums. The live album Tributo a la Salsa Colombiana (2007) spawned a hit on the tropical airplay charts with "La Palomita." ~ Jason Birchmeier
