Jean-Marie Zeitouni

Versatile conductor Jean-Marie Zeitouni is set to assume the music directorship of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra in 2025. He has been active with orchestras and opera houses across North America and, increasingly often, in Europe. Zeitouni's résumé includes several stints with early music ensembles as well as traditional orchestras. His growing recording catalog includes several major opera-oriented recordings, including one featuring Massenet's opera Grisélidis with the Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie and soprano Vannina Santoni, and another, the orchestral release Par amour, also featuring Santoni, in 2025.
