Employing an immersive amalgam of shoegaze, post-punk, grunge, and folk, Ireland's Theatre combines the sonic sweep of the Cure, Wolf Alice, and the Cranberries with the ethereal folk melodies of Fairport Convention. Founded in 2022 and comprised of vocalist Maeve O'Shea, guitarists Dara Gooney and Oscar Halpin, bassist Gerry Sheil, and drummer Sean Storan, the band built a loyal following in their hometown of Limerick before inking a deal with BMG/Echo in 2026 and issuing their debut EP, Incarnate.
