People I’ve Met

People I've Met, a New York-based alternative trio, make direct, emotional pop/rock driven by accessible guitar and synth-laden melodies. Active under different names since high school, their time opening for Royel Otis on the road, followed by 2026 debut EP Bunny, was a pretty auspicious debut - one that, in fact, nearly obscures the pedigree behind one of its members. The trio started with Los Angeles-based school friends Andrew Shuster (bass) and drummer Orlando Wiltshire (drums), both active in their middle school's jazz ensemble. When they started flirting with the idea of a rock band, they asked another student, singer/guitarist Moses Martin, to join them - no small ask, considering he is the son of Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
