In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing Pastime Paradise by Stevie Wonder when I was 6 at the keyboard in school. I remember lots of big words that rhymed and sounded cool but had no idea what any of it meant. You couldn’t see my head from behind the keyboard as I was so small. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alfa Mist, Antiphon Anderson .Paak, Malibu Craig Mack, Project: Funk Da World Project: Funk Da World was one of the first hip hop records I heard that got me fascinated with flow and cadence, Antiphon is like warm butter melting on my brain, Malibu is playful from start to finish - the musicianship screws my face up! It was written at a transitional point in my life and is a song driven by finding clarity amongst the chaos. The lyrics are deeply reflective and I was brutally vulnerable in it.
