In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is watching The NeverEnding Story and getting stuck on the music. Giorgio Moroder’s theme felt huge. It made me realise music could create a universe of its own. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Graceland” Graceland is really special to me because it came together in a very honest, collaborative way. Audrey’s voice brought a warmth I couldn’t create on my own. Growing up in Johannesburg, I never thought I’d make something like this. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments for me has been releasing music under my own name in 2026. I’ve spent a lot of time working behind the scenes, so putting something out under my own name was a big shift. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Performing on Saturday Night Live is definitely on my bucket list. I’d also love to write and produce for artists at the highest level and be part of projects that reach a global audience.
