In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up playing piano and keys while being a hardcore metal fan. Later, poetry pulled me into hip hop, and I started writing and producing my own music. That shift is what truly shaped the artist I am today. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, All Eyez On Me LINKIN PARK, Hybrid Theory Tom Misch, Yussef Dayes, What Kinda Music Hybrid Theory was one of my earliest influences and a real lifesaver for me. Tom Misch’s music gives me calm and peace of mind. And 2Pac’s All Eyez on Me is one of my favourite rap albums ever, a true no-skip classic that shaped my style. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A memorable moment was releasing my first mixtape. Made purely for hip hop with no expectations, it still surprises me today how strong my lyricism was even as a teenager. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to become the first global artist/rapper from Sri Lanka. That’s the vision behind my journey and my brand, “CMB to the World.”
