Music was always around growing up, with old vinyl of the Carpenters and the Highwaymen playing in the living room, while the sounds of the Cramps, Husker Du, and Depeche Mode drifted out of older siblings’ rooms. Tell us why you chose this song. “Vibes” Vibes was a song that worked its way out of the ether and into our instruments. Found as much as written. Starting off with a drum and bass groove and spinning off into jangling guitars and slide, it tells a familiar story losing love and healing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening up for This Will Destroy You on their Texas leg of the Self Titled Anniversary Tour was a fantastic experience. Watching the crowd stick around and grow as we played and sharing those moments with them was great. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The list goes on and on. Playing festivals we love and attend. Touring with bands we enjoy and admire. Recording more songs and sharing them with the world.
