In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. During our freshman year of college, we had a choir class together. Shreemayee was a soprano and Samantha was an alto. So we would get together to practice, recording voice memos on our phone. This was the first time we sang together. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lizzy McAlpine, five seconds flat Rita Payés, De camino al camino The 1975, Being Funny In a Foreign Language We love nostalgic music and how sound can evoke memories. These three albums on particular do that for us, and seeing how human emotions can be felt and received so differently drive who we are as musicians. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording our EP "Days We Leave Behind". This EP is extremely meaningful to us and was a way for us to share some of our raw experiences with our listeners. This EP is a first step for us as Nova Celestia - as songwriters and storytellers. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To play at Madison Square Garden. We want to be able to play our music to the whole world, eventually.
