Solex

Solex is the project name of Dutch DJ, producer, and songwriter Elisabeth Esselink, who named herself after a fashionable brand of French-made motor scooters. Featuring the retro charm and insouciant style of St. Etienne and the puckish sampling wit of Girl Talk, Solex makes fun, danceable electronic pop albums, starting with 1998's SOLEX VS. THE HITMEISTER. She has also colalborated with like-minded artists such as The Go! Team and Gerling.
