Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Ray Charles, Modern Sounds In Country And Western Music, Vols 1 & 2 (2024 Remaster) The Black Keys, Brothers Voodoo showed me how groove and soul can breathe in a song, while Brothers has that gritty blues energy I love. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hold on” I wrote “Hold On” during a time when everything felt uncertain and moving too fast. The song is about that quiet moment where you decide to keep going, even when the road ahead isn’t clear. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think the most memorable moment was hearing one of my songs playing somewhere unexpected for the first time. It’s a strange feeling when something that started as a quiet idea suddenly lives in the world. That moment made it all feel real. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to play a small, dimly lit room where people are really listening, not just passing through. Just a guitar, a band, and a quiet crowd. Moments like that are where songs feel the most honest.
