In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. when i was 5, i’d tiptoe downstairs at night to the family computer and watch Rihanna and Lady Gaga videos on repeat. i couldn’t explain it then, but their music made the world feel bigger. Ariana Grande, Positions BANKS, Off With Her Head SZA, Ctrl each one feels intentional—every song connected, every detail deliberate. they tell a story from start to finish, the kind you sit with start to end and feel changed by. Tell us why you chose this song. “To Let Go Your Hand” i wrote this in my last months of med school — while letting go of a relationship, leaving a city i loved, and stepping into residency. it carried me through that time and was my anchor. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? shooting my first music video was one of those full-circle moments — seeing the universe i’d been crafting through music finally take shape in front of me. it reminded me that sound can build worlds. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? i’d love to collaborate with Mariah Carey one day. she’s been such a blueprint for vocalists and pop storytellers — i could honestly die happy after that lol.
