In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first song I ever fell in love with was Glory Box by Portishead. My Dad used to play their album all the time. Such a beautiful song. I knew all the words and used to sing along, I was probably around 5. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amy Winehouse, Back to Black (Deluxe Edition) Deluxe Edition Massive Attack, Mezzanine (Deluxe) Portishead, Dummy This was so difficult. These 3 albums are all killer no filler. Just absolute quality music and vocal performances. A lot of my favourite songs across these albums. Tell us why you chose this song. “That's What Love Is” This is a song about my observations of my Mum and Dad's relationship. Far from the gooey eyed love stories we are sold. But they had something real and beautiful that lasted forever. Real love isn't all the plastic stuff we're told it is. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'm just starting out. Not a lot to talk about, but those first few streams, my music being heard by other people is such a rush. I just hope they like it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything. To do my first gig. To release my first album. To be followed and noticed by more people.
