Xania Monet

Xania Monet is an AI figure presented as a contemporary R&B vocalist in the highly expressive, church-bred, down-to-earth vein of Keyshia Cole, K. Michelle, and Muni Long. Designed by Telisha Nikki Jones, a poet from Mississippi, Monet's recordings are a synthesis of Jones' lyrics and a generative artificial intelligence music creation program. Monet appeared in July 2025 with a dozen individually released tracks that were followed the next month by the full-length Unfolded, consisting of 24 new songs. In September, Monet was behind the seven-track Pieces Left Behind EP and the single "Daddy." Shortly thereafter, Monet was on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart with Unfolded's "How Was I Supposed to Know?" and "Let Go, Let God" respectively topping and entering the publication's R&B Digital Songs and Hot Gospel Songs charts. The emergence coincided with reports that Jones had signed a multimillion-dollar contract for Monet with Hallwood Media.
