Diesel is Daryl Johnson, an outspoken country artist whose songs center around themes of patriotism, blue-collar values, and Christian faith. He rose from relative obscurity in 2025 when his tribute to conservative influencer Charlie Kirk went viral. Prior to the release of "How Dare They (For Charlie)," Johnson was a little-known independent artist working out of the American South. On September 15, 2025, he released both his debut album, If Love Ever Finds Me Again, and his Charlie Kirk tribute, which rose to viral success and topped streaming charts.
