About Silver Q
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Back in Kaduna around 2013, I found myself humming to the rhythm of life around me, laughter, voices, and silence. That moment made me realize music lives in every sound, and it awakened the artist in me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burna Boy, Twice As Tall Silver Q, H.B.D Q Wizkid, Made In Lagos Made in Lagos and Twice as Tall inspired my sound and spirit. Those two albums birthed H.B.D Q and its track “Found My Path.” They reminded me that music is a journey of growth, faith, and self-discovery. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Progress Over Poverty” "Progress Over Poverty" turns struggle into hope, reminds you not to live for others' validation, and connects you to your inner self—pushing you to work hard and always believe in your own potential. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2021, when I moved into making music, I’ve always wanted to make good music. But as an upcoming artist without an audience, I strived hard to get my sound heard, yet I was disappointed because of poor engagement. I did quit, but I’m back now. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many projects in the works, but the funds aren’t always there to bring them to life. It’s tough, but I won’t give up. My fans deserve great music, and I’m taking you all on this journey with love—stay tuned! God is with me.
