In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory would be dropping my first official single and seeing it make it to my city’s blog. Everybody was reposting it, playing it, tagging me that moment really confirmed that I was meant to do this as an artist. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Truth” My song The Truth it came from a real place. one of those songs where I finally got to say everything I’d been holding in, just pure emotion. It’s raw, it helped me close a chapter in my life. I took my power back, that’s why it means so much to me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yeah, there’s still more I want to do. I want to go mainstream, win a Grammy, and walk that BET Awards carpet. I’ve made major progress, but I know there’s still bigger stages waiting for me.
