About K-garoo
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. remember singing into a toy mic, copying old '90s pop songs from a cassette radio. I didn’t know what “genre” meant back then—I just knew rhythm made me feel alive. That feeling still drives me, even when I rap through a magenta-skinned kangaroo. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? James Blunt, All the Lost Souls Nirvana, Nevermind Various Artists, Loud Rocks These albums shaped how I see contrast in music—grunge pain, fragile beauty, and chaotic rap-rock energy. Each showed me that genre is just a costume; the emotion underneath is what really matters. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Remorse Kick (feat. Hyejung)” I wrote “Remorse Kick” late at night, lying in bed with regrets kicking inside my chest like echoes. It’s a quiet scream—about a past love, missed chances, and the kind of shame you only confess to the ceiling. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was when I realized I could turn my worst days into melody and meaning. When music became my language for grief, guilt, and hope—that’s when I stopped pretending and started existing as an artist. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Someday I want to see people jumping to a K-garoo EDM track in a sweaty club. Also, a real collab—like “you sing, I hop”—sounds like a dream worth chasing.
