In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At age 3, I endlessly listened to "A Hard Day’s Night" on vinyl—my favorite was "I Should Have Known Better". I imagined being Paul McCartney, singing along and pretending to play guitar. That scratched record became my first real musical obsession. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joe Satriani, The Extremist Metallica, Master of Puppets (Remastered) Nick Johnston, Remarkably Human Nick Johnston – Remarkably Human: a gripping musical story from start to finish. Joe Satriani – The Extremist: peak of melodic rock guitar. Metallica – Master of Puppets: blew my teenage mind and still grips me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mama (feat. Stephen's OY Choir & Jones 2.0)” Mama began as a fingerstyle acoustic instrumental for my mom. A year later, I had the idea to blend that melody with hip-hop and add a gangsta rap storyline on top. The mix was unexpected, but it gave the track a whole new life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment of my career is still ahead—I'm just at the beginning. But a cool highlight was when well-known UK guitarist Michael Baugh commented “very good” on my Nick Johnston cover. Later, he became my guitar teacher. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I truly hope my music finds its way into the hearts and ears of many listeners. That would be the greatest motivation for me to keep creating, growing, and expressing myself through sound.
